- Do I have to give you admin access to QuickBooks?
- No, and you shouldn't have to. The free file review needs read-only access and nothing else: no card, no admin rights. If you go ahead afterwards we ask to be added as an accountant-level user, which is enough to categorize, reconcile and run reports and not enough to touch billing or delete your company file. You can remove that access yourself at any time.
- What's the difference between cleanup and catch-up?
- Cleanup fixes months that exist in QuickBooks but are wrong: miscategorized, unreconciled, duplicated. Catch-up enters months that were never recorded at all. Most files need one or the other instead of both, and the free file review tells you which before we price either.
- I'm three years behind. Is it worth it?
- Usually yes. Three years is about 36 months of backlog, priced per month rather than as one alarming project, and most of it runs in parallel once source documents are gathered. It never takes three years to fix three years. The bigger cost is usually what stays broken while you wait.
- Can you fix what my last bookkeeper got wrong?
- Yes, and it's most of what cleanup work is. A messy handoff is the normal starting point here, not the exception. QuickBooks keeps enough transaction history to reconstruct the right categories from the bank feed and your own source documents.
- Who actually does the work?
- Omkar Moraye, a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, named with his credential on the about page. Your file stays with the person who opens it instead of moving between whoever is free that week, which is also the honest answer to how a 10-business-day turnaround holds.
- What do you need from me to start?
- Three things: read-only QuickBooks access, your last two statements for any account not already connected to the bank feed, and a way to reach you with questions. The free file review runs on the first one alone.
- How do I get started?
- Email omkarmoraye5@gmail.com and tell us what you're dealing with: how far behind you think you are, and which QuickBooks Online file it is. You'll have a written reply inside 48 hours saying which offer fits and what it costs, before anything is agreed. No form, no quote request, and nothing to negotiate.
